November 10, 2010 - MUMBAI, INDIA: The last two years have seen the entry of several Indian brands such as Videocon, Micromax into the mobile handset fraternity.

Even telecom service provider Airtel made its presence felt in this space recently. Now, adding to the lot will be T-Series, who is all set to launch its mobile handsets soon.

T-Series is targeting five percent of market share in the next 18-24 months.

Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and MD, Super Cassette Industries, the owners of T-Series music brand, said, “We found a great synergy between Everest and T-Series. Everest offers the best of both worlds: the experience and depth of a large agency and the agility of a small agency thanks to a team that has worked on the bluest of the blue chip FMCG brands.”

Mumbai-headquartered advertising agency, Everest Brand Solutions, will handle the new mobile handset brands from the house of Super Cassette Industries, the owners of T-Series music brand.

T-Series and Everest will chalk out creative and brand building investments of over Rs 100 crore for its launch.
